I have been working with Randy Hickman for quite some time now, he recently advised me to message you and ask if I can meet you briefly after the show. I am an aspiring musical theatre actress and I saw Next to Normal in May and your performance has kept me in awe for months and I convinced my parents to take me and one of randy's other "kids" to see Next to Normal this Thursday at 2. I just got my MacBook Pro. the one that I blogged about before, and I am in love. I mean LOVE.
Sure, it might be a little, 2 inches, shorter than I wanted, but it is still quite excellent. My mom is talking about my favorite show Raising Hope. I just watch it right after Glee.
Oh my goodness, I also got this awesome gift from my Aunt Val...something that I will never get over , because I have been looking for this forever. and I mean...EVER. December Boys. Then I also happen to get it from my Aunt Cindy and her family. Double Dose, I mean, I have been looking for it for soo long, I really enjoy having two copies, whether they are sad that they got me something I recieved from someone else, I really do not care.
I can not get enough Radcliffe :D
I also got: Little Shop of Horrors (sweetness) & Sweeney Todd with George Hern and Angela Lansberry.
I mean, WOW-zers. I can not wait to watch these on my MACBOOK. :D Well, Sweeney Todd hasn't come yet. But, when it is here, I am going to flip lids.
So, Epic Christmas. I am just going to go buy myself some more stuff, that I didn't get. But, thats ok(:

bazingah, This has been an interesting few days, hasn't it? I mean, nonstop rain. There is no meaning for my family to move to portland if mother nature keeps this up! :D

So, I really havent had much to say on this blog. It is unfortunate. I was thinking ayer, yesterday , about this : "If all of my thoughts were recorded, that would be one heck of a book." Unfortunately, magic doesnt happen where I live..I am still waiting for the Hogwarts letter Miss Rowling.

• Went to 3rd period, Mrs. Langen likes our dance, and its pretty much done.
• Algebra II was fun, did the STT with Rachel and Megan and only have 2 more problems for homework
• Career center at lunch, with Rachel...not going to the drama room.
• Spanish II, solid spanish for awhile. More Direct Object Pronouns..I believe I sorta have it. I love Senora Villasenor(: ....she also let me and Ryan McCauley out early....being the only ones.
• Drama II...well. I talked on the phone and got basic blocking done

• attempting to help colt and rachel with last minute audition things

WELL. I had an awesome weekend. Friday was just a chill night. Went to Julias for like 15 minutes, came home, cleaned, smiled, listened to music, helped my neighbor and went to bed around 9.
I had no life that day.
Saturday, I helped out with the Hairspray Vocal Workshop, It was really fun! Great to see some friends wanting to get some help nad are not afraid of it either. then I cleaned my room, Ill take a pic later. and then went to Makenna's chior concert, itwas pretty great(: I talked to teh people sitting next to me, it was fun.
Then slept over at Makenna's house.
Sunday, we woke up from a nice sleep at around 8:30, ate, played wii, then I found out i really suck at mario..then we spent the rest of the time making sugar cookies and watching movies.

I happened to have pulled a MICHAEL MOTHERHEAD ( I just learned of this new term this very morning), which ulitmately means : to not prepare for an event and do exceptionally AWESOME at it. That was me this very morning when I happen to have done my response to Animal Farm Chapters 5-7 Question 10 at the bottom of the page. My response was as follows: (May I remind you this did take me awhile to figure out this amazing-ness)
 Benjamin, the donkey, is very lazy, doesn't really care and just goes with the flow and doesn't participate in the government debates nor their rulings.
Boxer, the hard-working horse, is a follower of Napoleon and stands behind him in whatever he does. "Napoleon is always right," he says. He just believes in working hard and efficiently.
                Since Boxer is a follower of Napoleon, if anyone upsets him, Boxer will stand behind the power-hungry pig.
Benjamins is a prime example of what Napoleon wants his citizens to be like. Because Benjamin just follows and goes with the flow. This satires the Animal Farm governmet because now Napoleon has another fore protecting him, and citizens are afraid if they bring up cchange or anything against Napoleons ruling.

There was my Michael Motherhead moment of the day . Brillance. Utter amazing-ness? I am in awe that she didn't interrogate me like she did others. WOOSH. thank you lord. <3

Second Period (Physics):
Well, we started Chapter 7, and I was thinking. WOW. Chapter 7 already? shoot. So, I turned in my Ch5/6 packet. With the labs barely touched. He gave us one day for one, and the other. I admit, I completely forgot about. But, he is a cool teacher. I must admit. But the stupid people in my class slow us down. Gahd. But, I learned a lot of science history and that, in this chapter, we are going to learn about astronomy a little bit too.
Sam Mora was in our class today, it was pretty nice seeing her there. Roerig also told us storys and stuff. Pretty awesome Physics today.

Third Period (Dance I):
Well. I saw people sitting and writing and I immediately thought: "Wait...it isn't friday...OR journal day!" Yet, it was journal day, indeed. So, we wrote, watched videos and tested partnering. It was fun. I really liked talking, or really listening, about different opinions and definitions of stuff, basically I liked sitting there and listening for once.

Fourth Period(Algebra II):
More graphing. Never enough graphing. This still has to be my favorite educational class. I understand it completely, classmates are awesome and the teacher is as well. So, we got into LOGS today. I can't wait. I heard my friends, older friends, last year talking about them and how they liked him; so I am hoping to like this LOGS thing as well.
I finished my worksheet in class, I also forgot to mention that I left my pencils and writing utensils at home. I hate to ask for borrowing things, but thats how I survived today. Espically in Math. Mad Props to the people at my table!

Lunch:
Drama Meeting. Discussed the confusion about the ASB coffeehouse night. Hairspray dates, secret santa, christmas party, re-doing forms, and T-shirts that Dom is going to order.
I played the "dating game" for the first time, I was Natalie Haller from All Shook Up. Rachel was Rachel Berry from Glee and Sophie was the daughter of the fat guy on  Family Guy, "You can say my dad is a real FAMILY GUY." And reden was the boy in this situation, he chose Rachel. Then there was some Drama tag. then the bell rang.

Fifth Period(Spanish II):
Well, it is hard to talk in nothing but Spanish, I will admit it. I love who I sit next to though. Harley always is like " NO hablo ingles." then swears some more(: Hareer and I just laugh and then Kristen looks very well put together due to a choir thing she had just returned from. Then, we had 5 minutes to hang out and talk solely in spanish. and WOW. 1. the 5 minutes went by fast. 2. I don't know spanish slang. POO.
The guy who sits next to me, Ethan, had a red bull. I was jealious.

Yes, I am addicted to the SUGAR FREE ones, the regular isn't THAT bad. But, this just tastes better. Yum<3 I think I'll have one after I am done writing. Shh ;) <3

Sixth Period(Drama II):
Wow. What. A. Work. Out.
We did movement , as an ensemble, and PHEW , was I sweaty and tired. Man, that killed. But it was fun. I realize Per. 6 can really only do the RUNNING MAN. ... I can't but, we did that frequently. My side had less people and more energy than the other. I love Drama. We also read a simple script, and this is where I had finally realized how far I have come. I read simple words like , "Hey" "HI" "how are you." "Fine thanks. "Great." and got crazy  ideas from it. Like. characters ,and the setting was an art museum so that was awesome. Got the atmosphere for it. Crazy. Crazy stuff.
Then sophie was amazing and Post-it our one act from N2N. Then, we heard that we are not allowed to work with who we wanted to originally. The only problem I have with that is, I don't want a slacker . Who isn't going to put in all the effort like I am. Nor are they going to be there and take it seriously. Thats why I had sophie and now I am like. Shoot. Give me Junior or something, I am pretty sure I have worked with everyone in that class. Gah. We will see what happens tomorrow.

Well. Crazy stuff huh?
I put up most of our Xmas tree...BY MYSELF, i may add. I am strong! (:
Its a fake tree...don't get too excited. Mom yelled at me. I did my homework. Now I am IM'ing . thinking about REDBULL and its 10:38.

Time to listen to iTunes.
BTdubbs comrades. I am trying my hardest to do the hairspray CD's and only succeeded in making ONE. My computer is eating this blank CD. SO I am trying to say, Sorry for the delay, I  have been working onit everynight. Like my Hairspray audition song<3

I did decide earlier that I should write a blog about one of my amazing friends from back in...the day(: I believe we have known each other for around 7 years now! WOW. 7-6 years.




Delaney Manning

She is the one that inspired me to start writing, why? I don't know, simply because she is inspiring and amazing?

I remember becoming friends with her and a couple of other leads back when we did A Christmas Story  in 2004.

Yes children, I have known her for awhile. Yet, this year I had the amazing oppurtunity to become even closer to the dear girl. I got to know her better during 2009's performance of Joseph! , but I never really got to act  with her. This year in the show with the name of Seussical, I got to. We initially wanted different roles than what we got. She wanted Mayzie LaBird and I wanted Gertrude McFuzz. Then, we magically got switched. It was really hard to be mean to her since she is soo pleasent to be around. But, we had fun and acted professionally. We killed our routines every time. Extra practice DOES make perfect, cohorts. ( XD  juliaa! ). What else should I say about this fantastic girl? Well, what else can I say other than shes is hilarious, funny, sarcastic, talented(like extremely[fact: Delaney plays the Accordian]) a ginger, pretty(always has been) and whenever I see her she is always smiling, which is personally my favorite. So, dear Manning, whenever you are feeling sorrow, come back to this blog because I will always love you. This is proof. I also was there when Delaney went through a horrible time, that shouldn't be brought back up. I love you girl. And I thought that I would let you know that. This is for you. I can't wait to read the next edition of your blog. <3Marisa
