I know I haven't blogged in awhile. Simple because I haven't had any inspiration, and I have spent all of my writing skills on pottersworld. But this is something that should be blogged, since it is a rather large part of my life.

I owe my whole career in theatre to Randall Hickman, Douglas Davis, Myles Vencil, Katie Gonzales, Kristen Strange, Courtney Park, and all of the insanely talented people I have ran into along the way at Premiere for Kids.

I feel as if I owe them everything. I love each one of them so much. To the point where its more than most of my family, they are my family. The family that we love to mess around with. Since the young age of 7, they have welcomed me with open arms and taught me the most valuable things that I couldn't imagine learning from anyone else. Thank's isn't enough to express my gratitude towards these people/this company. I am aware the end is drawing near, and the thought of that brings tears to my eyes.

I'm not being melodramatic or anything, I'm being completely honest. They have made me the person that I am today, without them, I have no idea what I would be like. So many memories growing up with them, not all of my memories people have shared with them. Like, when The Broadway Theatre was an empty storage place behind the Avo, with a variety of metal poles and such. Doing secret Santa Exchanges in the white wall and floor storage place. Watching Doug draw on the black walls. Being one of the first kids to run around the Broadway in Winnie the Pooh costumes. Talking to randy after school shows. Listening to Doug do the raffles, when they had good prizes! The countless times I have sold opportunity tickets, randy made fun of me for being too pushy with it...but agreed that it worked. Then there was the time where Randy was into 'floating heads' so for our lobby pictures, he put us in black turtlenecks. When we went out to take the picture, Austin Wright (one of the people from the beginning) asked Randy if he would ever do wicked. His response: "HECK NO." Growing up with all the students that now work for them every year: Kristen, Courtney and Myles mainly. Then when Myles went off to college...now he graduated. It's been that long! Walking around with Brittany (graduated) , Lauren (senior), and Myles (UCSF Grad) in Moonlight park for easter, putting flyers on cars. Myles making a select group of us clean the off broadway (I remember when they bought the old costume place and was going to turn it into a childrens theatre), including cleaning the bathrooms during a rehearsal...Randy later took pictures of Lauren and me cleaning the Urinal.. Also the time where he cancelled rehearsal for everyone except for leads, then we all cleaned the theatre. Which was ultimately the start of me going to clean every so often. When Legally Blonde was on MTV, Randy came in the next day boasting about its genious, which was all during christmas show rehearsals. When he came back from NYC he always told us of the shows he saw. He taught me to appreciate any part I get. Marching up and down Main Street, attempting to get people in the theatre to watch shows. Spending quality time with all of my friends. Doing the summer Drama camp, Katie being the Director for the second time of me doing Alice in Wonderland. Then when myles went off to college, Jacob came in. No one was super fond of Jacob at first, since he was no myles. He came and saw me in my understudy show at EC for All Shook Up. But look at us now, we love them both dearly. All of the timeless award shows, finding out who was announcing five minutes before the show started. All of randy's classic jokes. The many names he called me. Being there when the 'muppet arms' was created in a workshop..by vincent...he called it the Vincent muppet arms...any premiere kid would understand. Talking with Randy about Hairspray at a young age, when he told me that they signed him on in Mid-2000's for Edna Turnblad, and now he is Edna this summer. I was just Tracy. Man. Time has flown by. And there are many more. But these are the ones that I recall the most.


Not only to mention all of the great kids I have ran into. There are countless people. I remember faces, names(some) and what shows we did and their parts. But there are few that I have actually kept talking to from our beginnings coming to our ends. Some have graduated this year, most next year, and then my year. It's going to be hard. I need to find some of my old pictures and scan them.

I was Six going on Seven. 2003. Now I am Fifteen going on Sixteen. 2011. It's been a wonderful eight years. Years of amazing-ness that I owe to them. Thank You. Imagine when its my time to go off to college. That's going to kill. Well, I love you Randall, Douglas, Myles, Jacob (team Jacob...SILVA), Katie, Courtney and Kristen.

I will always be a premiere kid. I owe everything to you guys. I love you. Thank you for being in my life.

What would you do if you found out that you had a long lost twin? Not only that, but when you finally had the chance to meet them, they disappear and now you are stuck playing them in their life with the only thing that you know to be the same is your looks. How far would you go to find out what happened?
#1 New York Times Bestselling author of Pretty Little Liars, Sara Shepard, starts off her new series, The Lying Game, with a BANG! The Lying Game is about long lost twin sisters, Emma and Sutton. Emma has been thrown around from foster home to foster home since her mother, Becky, left her during her early childhood. While the other other sister, Sutton, got the short end of the stick; she lives the high-life in Arizona. Sutton is popular, funny, diabolical and spoiled. But would someone really kill to have Suttons life?
In the beginning of the novel, you read a short, sweet prologue with our narrator, Sutton, telling us that she has died, yet doesn’t know how. “I could barely remember my name was Sutton Mercer, or that I lived in the foothills of Tuscon, Arizona.” She meets a girl that eerily resembles her, only to find out that it is, in fact, her long lost twin sister, Emma. Sutton can’t walk away from her, she is simply a ghost who lingers alongside Emma. Emma lives in a Las Vegas foster home, which isn’t exactly “Strip” material. During the evening her step mother tells her that she is going to kick her out once she turns eighteen, due to something she was framed for. Meanwhile, her creepy foster brother, Travis, shows her a video, titled SuttoninAZ, of (a girl that looks like her in Arizona being strangled to death. Emma believes that could be her long lost sister so she “facebooks” her to meet her, and immediately gets a reply from Sutton; “Of course, there was one problem with that note: I didn’t write it”.
As the book moves on, Emma goes to Arizona to meet her sister and brings a duffel filled with overnight things. When she goes to the designated meeting spot, she gets a surprise attack, one very much like the SuttoninAZ video. Someone covers her eyes and mouth and drags her away from the spot. That someone was a good friend of Suttons, Madeline; who, of course, thought Emma was Sutton. Emma becomes familiar with Suttons close crowd of friends: Charlotte, Madeline, Gabriella and Lilianna. They “kidnap” her to a last day of summer party, leaving all of Emma’s personal belongings on the bench. When Emma tries to retrieve her things, they are gone.
Emma becomes aquinted with Garrett, Sutton’s boyfriend, Ethan, the moody “rebel-without-a-cause”, Nisha, Sutton’s worst enemy and her tennis co-captain, and Suttons Family, including her younger sister who always wants to tag along, Laurel. For awhile, Emma tries to tell the truth, that she isn’t Sutton and something is wrong if she didnt meet her the other day, but no one believes her, including the police. When she tried to prove herself with the video, it was miracurusly gone. Emma starts to uncover things about her sister that she didnt want to know. Sutton was “Queen Bee”, disliked by most teachers, praised among her peers, and was the nuturious mastermind behind “killer” pranks, which is called The Lying Game, which she is the “CEO” of the group. Emma becomes intertwined with her sisters life whether she wants to be or not, she starts recieving threatening letters from an anonymous person, who could be anyone(since Sutton has done something to every person in town, including her posse) saying that Sutton was dead and if she skipped out and didn’t play her sisters role that she was going to be next in line. When Emma tried to skip out of town, the next night at a sleepover, she recieved a frightening warning, which was being strangled by Sutton’s murderer(whom she can’t see because she gets blindfolded). When she awoke there was an important piece of jewelry hanging around her neck.
Throughout the course of the book we don’t forget Sutton is there lingering over her sister, with no memory of how she got killed. She has a few chapters of flashbacks of the night where she got strangled, in this book you might assume thats the way she died. At the end of every chapter there is also a confusing switch between third and first person, or that is just strung through the chapter. When Emma’s story is being told, its a third-person narrative, yet when Sutton is talking it’s a first. That is something that I constantly got confused on. It would switch from “ Emma could hardly breathe” to “I wanted to yell”.
The book itself was very good, but there are some concepts in it that I wasn’t overall impressed with, having read this author’s works before. First one: the concept of long lost twins that nobody knew about, that are complete oppisites, was already used in her last series Pretty Little Liars book #8 Wanted. Second: Murder mysteries always thrill me, but here we are again, another Pretty Little Liars concept, the evil girl dies. They always refer to her as the “bitch”, and she is the one that dies, always. Third: what addictive teenage novel wouldn’t be complete without romance? I mean, there is Sutton’s boyfriend and then there is Emma’s interest, Ethan. Which provides a conflict, obviously, but can’t there be one book where the protagonist focus’s on the murder and not their love life? Fourth: the idea of someone watching Emma’s every move and doing little acts, like notes and the big strangling scene, was also strung without the authors last series Pretty Little Liars. Fifth: there are some subplots that are completely predictable. You can figure out the secret between some friends and what Sutton did within a few sentences, yet it took the author until the end of the book to confirm it with you, with was very unsatisfying to wait that long to figure out that my first prediction was correct. Sixth: yet again another Pretty Little Liars thing, one twin takes over the other’s life, which you also find out in Pretty Little Liars book # 8.
Last, but not least, Seventh: like the last authors bestselling series, this book is going to be made into an ABC Family original series, be looking for it on television everywhere August 15, expect different elements of the plot. Whereas, I told you (and the book clearly says) Emma never meets Sutton, the synopsis for the show says “After their initial meeting, Sutton convinces Emma to step into her shoes for a few days while she has a lead on their birth mother. But Emma suspects something is wrong after Sutton doesn’t return to their designated meeting spot.” Emma knows who their birth mother is in the books, but she just left, Emma never meets Sutton and has no choice but to step into her sisters shoes, whether she wants to or not. I highly suggest read the book before you watch the series, same with the authors other book-turned-into-show series.
There are things that I was impressed with, don’t get me wrong, but I think that the book has a nice plot, but lacked originality in some points. There was one thing that was new though, only two people know that Sutton is dead, Emma and her killer. I hope that Sara Shepard comes up with some new ideas for her second Lying Game novel, Never Have I Ever (that being the same title of a game the girls played during the book). Until the next chapter! “We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.”-Kurt Vonnegut.

Today was hard to get through.
Well, first off. It is official, my glasses are gone. I lost my glasses/Someone stole my glasses.
I am afraid to tell my parents, but until I talk to Duckie I won't make it official to them.
I miss my glasses. I can't see in ANY of my classes. It's embarsassing that I constantly have to move seats.


First Period:
Sub. And we were supposed to annotate a poem, and I have no idea how to or what it is. Then I was called into the office to fill out a CSF form, because I am smart.
Yes.


Second Period:
I understand Physics. But, I can't see anything on the board. So, my eyes probably crossed without myself knowing and that's embarrassing. On the brightside, I somewhat understand what this chapter is going to be about.


Third Period:
I danced our Hip-Hop Choreo. We were dead last. I put most of my energy into the dance, we videotaped and we get to watch it tomorrow. I usually never show up for watching the dance, but tomorrow I believe I might.


Fourth Period:
I can't see. At least the class knows that my glasses are gone, so they open me to their seats with warm arms. I wish. I understand the class, I personally love it. I got a 97/100 on the test. I was really happy about it.


Lunch:
Aly was sitting by a hummingbird on the ground, it was pretty. But, it flew away. We ate lunch. Felix, Dominique and I were inpersonating Penelope from SNL. Great things.


Fifth Period:
I love Spanish, but not typically when we do proyectos. I have a presentation to do tomorrow. Fun things. Fun Stuff. Fun. I have confirmed this. There happens to be an attractive male in that class. I don't stare. Nor enjoy it. I just happen to state that. I was questioning myself for awhile.


Sixth Period:
Talked to strong. Justin lang is going to be doing a workshop with us for three weeks, lining up to the shakesphere festival in Carlsbad this month. Read a Romeo and Juliet scene with Kenzie, I enjoyed playing Tybalt. (Shelby said I sounded like Tracy when I read Shakesphere, okay.) And thats basically it.


Rehearsal/After School.
Well, there was a meeting after school. Turns out a lot of us are not thespians, yet. So, we are going to have to fix that in the course of the rest of the year. And rehearsal, oh. my. god. I will kill some people. It's soo close to opening and they don't realize it. When we have rehearsal of the show on Sunday they are going to realize this. Thank You Mrs. Strong for scheduling that.
I am also sick of my oppisite always leaving me hanging.
I am going to fix this, along with little things along the way.
I am not sure if people knew I was annoyed today, but it seemed like they noticed. Because Seagge and Michael came over and made sure I was okay. ThankYouBothVeryMuch.(:

Amanda rented Charlie St. Cloud(may I add that Zac Efron looks his best now than ever?!), and just showed me the funeral and the part where the little brother dies.

And then my family and I watched The Social Network, for me it was the third time. For them, the first.

Amanda came into watching it with her mind already made up. "This movie is LAME."

Where I think it might be just the fact that the movie might be a little mature for her to understand; similar to Next to Normal. Amanda was convinced that the show was horrible and really bad and that Alice Ripley had a man voice.

So, this doesn't make any sense to me why she listens to the OBC Album every night. That's my sister though, I really need to start letting it go through one ear and out the other with her.

Well. I am going to rent two of those movies on iTunes right now, then I am going to let amanda play some games on my laptop.

I've realized that I am really madly in love with Modern Rock Musicals.

This was my first clue.

This is a minor blog about something that happened to me today.
Well, let's remember what happened today first.
1st period.
I was expecting a sub, and we got




A SUB. but this is sad circumstances, my teachers dad is dying from cancer.... she deserves all the time with him that she can get.


2nd period.
I love Physics. I now have a C+. Stoked on Life.

3rd.
Dance. I danced. and stuff.

4th period.
I undersand math. I love you Algebra II.

Personal Victory.

5th period.
and here we go.
we graded tests.
 I graded a boy's test.
and then I gave it back to him and there was a shock, that wasnt static, like a legit shock.
I was baffled the rest of the class.
and then we learned about the Preterite and Imperfect tense. I really love the spanish Language.

6th period.
Made clay Dyenisous[or Daniel](?)'s. I really enjoyed the class period.
We tested lines, Carmen, Helena and Kadijiah made funny things out of clay.
and tomorrow my group is going, I am delivering Hairspray posters during the period, and then I am changing into clothes for rehearsal.


Rehearsal
I enjoyed it. Just is going to take time to get used to moving and singing at the same time.
Running through the show vocally. Fun stuff.


I need to do homework and sleep.
Jersey day tomorrow, I plan on wearing my sisters soccer jersey.

okay. I watched Inception. awesome movie, but I was confused. Yet, I understood at the same time. that's nuts.
This morning I watched Kick - Ass
Now, Inception.
After, the Social Network.
