MODERN FAMILY. heals me on wednesdays. I love Phil. end of story.
I should really get blog topics besides my boring days...well they aren't that boring...but I'd rather not recap. most people that read my blog go to school, we all know what its like.
I just need to speak a little more spanish so I get used to having to speak it non stop for 40 minutes a day. its not that bad. But its hard. gotta be honest.


During Hairspray rehearsal, which I wasn't needed at today...nor tomorrow...(personal victory...baha sophie) Aly, Audrey, Helena, Cabebe, Marci, Motherhead, Tayler and I played apples to apples.... best game to play with really political silly drama kidz.

So, if you read this. Give me a topic. I'll write a detailed blog once a week about it. And then little blogs about other things on other days. Once this week and next week are over, I'll make it a regular habit to write and perfect both english and some spanish on this blog.

Friday and Sunday are ASU performances for elderly people...and we have been slaving during those rehearsals.
&& I have been trying to get AVPS back on the road.

HAIRSPRAY!!!

So. Most of our casting is pretty much done.  and I am really excited!

On wednesday, before our first vocal rehearsal, I helped Mrs. Strong and Ms. Nicastro try out different links.

This consisted of 6 boys, 2 different scenes for each, and one song to sing with each one.

So, I did the jail scene before without love 6 times, "cocky" link larkin scene 6 times, and "It Takes Two" 6 times. Which makes a grand total of = 18

weee! I am pretty much memorized for those things now.

and we also have this conquered.
and by this I mean..we have our Link Larkin(s).

Justin Quinene is our Link. His understudy is Cody Dobbins.

(The Cody thing makes Tayler a little angry...[about me and McKenzie...and....I think you know what we do...its in the picture above.])

Today we had our third vocal rehearsal. It was awesome. Everyone sounds great and we are making 10x more progress than we ever did last year..and some people were absent today, which made things a LOT easier.

Rachel was Nicastro's piano player today. Understudies learned harmonies and sang along with the leads. But, while they were doing that, the leads stepped outside.

Kenzie blows everyones ear sockets out. 

It makes me smile. She is a very loud belter.

Things are cool. First day of dance rehearsal is tomorrow. I am scared and stokked at the same time.

eek!

Then scotland meeting. I am prepared for both answers and tears for one.

I am very scared.

FINALS WEEK.

I am beyond happy it is here. I am prepared for every class, I believe.

I like finals week because

1. No Homework

2. After the final you just hang out

3. You aren't learning anything new

4. You get out early all week.

5. At the end of the week there isn't any school.

I should sleep considering I actually have a final to take tomorrow

and I have to print things in the morning for an english assignment I didn't turn in today 

because I didn't go to school in the morning due to the fact I felt uneasy.

Let's just reflect on a recent event that occured not to long ago. Shall we?

Thursday, Dec 30th. Night

And this is how Marisa feels right now

Wow. What a day! I mean. This is going to be one HECK of a blog. WoAh. I mean. I'm still kinda in awe.
thats how you should feel after seeing a really amazing show.
DECEMBER 30TH, THURSDAY, 2:00(actually 2:07 when they told me to turn off my phone), ROW D, SEAT 44, MEZZANINE, AHMANSON THEATRE , LOS ANGELES.
what a show. I really understand why I am literally in love with this thing.

You have heard(or seen) me talk about this show since...May. I mean, you have no idea until you see it. You walk out a different person, I mean this from the bottom of my heart.

it all started this morning. things were okay. I woke up around 9:15. I did my makeup until around 10:30( I kept messing up, so I had to restart, everything HAD to be perfect for today). Around 11 , Melly (our neighbor and amandas friend) came over, I finished breakfast and I showed her the cast on the website, got on my shoes and we left around 11:30 (dad went and got gas). We went over to pick up sophie and her dad came out just to say hi(: he is soo nice. So, then we were off, Sophie and I exchanged chirstmas gifts, and she got me a Gir Makeup Bag...I am going to convert it into a pencil pouch :D I got her a feathered blue clip for her hair, it looked great with her dress too!! :D And a Cd with a song entitled "Sunny D and Double Bed Intruders". Which was a mash-up of : Double Rainbow, The Bed Intruder Song, Backin Up and Sunny D and Rum. It is an epic Davedays song. I support him, You should look it up! Sophie and I talked the whole way there. We even (pretend to) talked to the guy who was cleaning the street. Our car ride consisted of...many things. Like how to pronounce the theatre that we were going to. The Ahmason Theatre (AH-MAS[like spanish]-IN). We walked out and went up many a escalators, and found out how cold California can be. Luckily the Will Call line went by fast.
We literally walked in about 5 minutes before the show started. Sophie and I saw few cute boys( Surprised! ), a young couple doing the wavin ravin(he was trying to make many a moves on his girl doing this sob story), and we got some exercise standing up frequently for others to pass us.
Next to Normal.
Officially my favorite show. I noticed soo many differences and things that I never saw the first time. Alice Ripley. Is amazing. She breaks barriers and keeps the performance fresh and new every time. I knew of most of the cast and who they were, so I brought little things for them to sign. Natalie , and her understudy , were both in Spring Awakening...different characters though. Alice and Asa were OOBC's for Next to Normal (Diana and Dan), and Jeremy Krushnier was in the Original las Vegas Cast of Jersey Boys and I saw him...and admired his work.
My Parents enjoyed the show, Amanda thought Alice had a man voice...GRR. Melly liked it. Sophie and I cried at the end...I tried not to...for Mrs. Kruse ;D
Asa was a great dad. Preston was an AWESOME henry. I just wanted to hug him. ADORABLE. Natalie was <3 LOVE. I love every Natalie I have seen. They are all soo different. I hope to be Natalie Goodman one day.

I was kinda hoping for a playbill...but this worked.

Then it was about..a 2 hour or 1.5 hour car ride to LA. Not bad, considering sophie and I opened our chirstmas gifts to one another. She got me a Gir makeup bag+Gir pin.

I met alice ripley. You have the right to yell and be jealous. Yes. You do. (for those who don't know her significance and talents...she won a 2009 TONY for "Best Actress in a Musical" for Diana Goodman in Next to Normal...I am going to go see her again in San Diego...that makes it three times.)


SCHOOL.
Just getting ready for Finals.
It's really a butt. I mean. I have to do SOO much for a class that I really havent done much for(english), Physics is just review...just like Algebra II, Spanish we took different types of finals all week(easy stuff),  and drama is just preparing for finals(I am helping misty with hers but she is no longer my partner. Sophie is for n2n ..or I can do something from Hairspray...devin? idk..still up in the air)
OH.
Miss Delaney Manning came yesterday to visit my drama class. It was quite fun. I adore her. Miss her as well<3
I hope she comes to EC next semester. "Straight Boys... what?!!" XD

Umm. I have a lot to type about. and A LOT to say.
